Matthias Seitz, Conductor

Matthias Seitz Matthias Seitz was born into a family of musicians in Regensburg, beginning violin and piano lessons at the age of six. As a grammar-school student he joined the 'Regensburger Domspatzen', gaining extensive experience of choral music. After his graduation, he studied at the University for Music and Theater in Munich, receiving conducting tuition from Prof. Gerd Guglhör, Prof. Max Frey, and Prof. Christoph Adt.

Since 2008, he has been teaching courses in Practical Piano Playing for Schools at the University for Music and Theater in Munich. He also works as a freelance choir conductor (munichbluenotes), pianist (Hannes-Keseberg-Band), musical arranger, and singer. With his vocal ensemble 'StimmBand', he won second place at the German a cappella contest in Send Horst (in the semi-professional category).

Matthias has been conducting the don camillo chor since 2013.
