13.10.2014 (ms)
The don camillo choir help Hannes Beckmann with the recording of a revised version of his Stations of the Cross "Die blaue Krone".
Long-time don camillo fans will know that the choir has often helped out with unusual projects (for instance the Opera performance of Cosi fan tutte, the Theater production „Symbiosis“ von „La Fura dels Baus“, and the Jazz-Requiem für Chor und Big Band von Steve Gray). This time is was the composer and jazz violinist Prof. Hannes Beckmann that the Camillos supported, recording the choir part for "Schweben", a movement from his latest release, the Stations of the Cross "Die blaue Krone". The recording session was carried out in the Evangelical Kreuzkirche in Munich on 12th October 2014.
